Are you an experienced technician with a passion for quality and problem-solving?
We're looking for a Production Technician with Service experience to join our client based in the Barry area. You'll be responsible for assembling, testing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and components, ensuring they meet the high standards our client is renowned for. If you're confident working with schematics, soldering irons, and diagnostic tools, we'd love to hear from you!
This role offers some great benefits, including an early finish every Friday (and still paid full-time 37.5 hours / week!), free parking on site and a collaborative team.
What You'll Do
Service and repair instruments returned by customers, using your skills to diagnose and fix any faults.
Carry out thorough testing on production instruments to maintain top quality.
Troubleshoot electronic PCBs to ensure all devices operate correctly.
Help maintain high standards by ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with talented engineers on exciting new product development projects.
What You'll Need
BTEC National Certificate in Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths and English.
Practical experience with soldering, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally to support training.
