As a Senior Care Worker, you’ll still be hands-on with carebut you’ll also be leading by example. That means supporting the team, helping to plan shifts, updating care plans, and keeping everything running smoothly day to day.

You’ll be a key point of contact for service users and their families, so we’re after someone who’s confident, compassionate and comfortable taking charge when needed.

What you’ll be doing :

• Supporting and guiding care staff on shift

• Auditing medication and making sure all systems are safe and sound
• Stepping in when the manager or deputy is off duty
• Supporting new staff and helping them settle in

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
