Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Ashington based client.What's on offer?A full-time permanent roleWorking Monday to Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pmPaid at £40,000 per yearAbout the role?Working as a Manufacturing Engineer you will help develop new processes and equipment, ensuring work is done safely, efficiently, and in line with our clients 5S and lean manufacturing principles. Your duties and responsibilities will include : Support the operations team during customer and internal design reviewsUnderstand and work with engineering drawings and GD&TMake sure tooling, gauging, and quality needs are handled early in the NPI processHelp with Supplier Quality Assurance to ensure reliable goods and servicesManage projects for new equipment, plant, and facility installationsAssist with departmental budget planningCreate manufacturing documentation as neededTake part in equipment and process risk assessmentsHelp solve production problemsWrite reports for Departmental HeadsFollow health and safety guidelines at all timesWhat you'll need?To be successful in this Manufacturing Engineer position, you will be educated to a minimum of HNC level in Electro / Mechanical based engineering subject. Combined with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a low to medium manufacturing environment. A recognised four-year apprenticeship, either Electro / Mechanical or Technical / C...
