Crisis Recovery Worker
Hours of work : We are looking for 1 x 25 hours per week and 1 x 16 hours per week position / In the form, please specify which hourly variant is right for you
Working hours : 6pm to 12am over a 7 day working week
Salary : £25,958 FTE

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Crisis Recovery Worker to join our dynamic, growing team at our Ashford Safe Haven.
Ashford safe haven delivers an out of hours crisis alternative service to people who are struggling with their mental health. We offer person centred, emotional support and guidance to individuals who access our service. We are looking for experienced and compassionate people to provide a high quality, recovery focussed support to clients who present with a wide range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance mis use, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.
Be able to demonstrate at interview you experience in :
- Assessing a situation to determine risk and the needs of the person accessing support.
- To make decisions under pressure whilst communicating with the person accessing support.
- To accurately record new contacts and details of visits and calls on relevant electronic systems.
- To work in line with performance targets and key contractual requirements, providing data and case studies as requested.
- To advise and be actively involved in individual risk assessment and review.
- Where identified, an appropriate action plan / safety plan will be put in place to meet individual's needs.
- To encourage those accessing support to recognise, understand and manage factors that affect their mental wellbeing and physical health
- To work with a range of partners and external agencies to meet individual's needs and support with individual safety and delivery of the service
