• Good general knowledge of engineering design e.g., general arrangement drawings, schematic diagrams, loop diagrams etc..
• Able to read, interpret, and produce engineering designs and drawings.
• Able to produce project documentation e.g., functional design specifications, test procedures, drawings etc…
• Any specific experience of working on rail telecoms, rail systems, control systems, electrical systems, automation systems projects would be beneficial.
• You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / Degree) in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple people and disciplines within the business.Electrical Project Engineer responsibilities :
• You will be part of an industry leading engineering team delivering safety solutions within the rail systems industry.
• You will be involved in writing specifications, producing designs and providing engineering support to site-based engineering teams.
• Undertake reviews and audits of designs.
• Provide a technical interface with customers.
• Produce project documentation such as functional design specification sand test procedures.
