Exciting Role for Skilled Upholsterers in Doncaster! - Are you an experienced Upholsterer seeking a rewarding role with excellent benefits? A renowned retailer's furniture division in Armthorpe is looking for dedicated professionals to join their team. This permanent position, working the AM shift from 5 : 30am to 1 : 45pm, Monday to Friday, offers an hourly rate of £14.46, with additional overtime paid at enhanced rates and an uncapped bonus scheme.

Role Details :

As an Upholsterer, you will be working the AM shift from 5 : 30am to 1 : 45pm, Monday to Friday. Your primary responsibilities will include upholstering various sofa frames to meet quality standards using foam, fibre, fabric, and leather. Working as part of a production line, you will :

Assemble sofas using handheld power tools such as nail guns, ensuring production targets are met.- Inspect components and materials, reporting any defects found.- Upholster units or parts of units to specification using supplied tools.- Ensure all fabric matching requirements are met.- Drill and mark frames as required, adhering to specifications.- Order sundries from production assistants as needed.

Skills and Experience Required :

Previous experience as an Upholsterer or in furniture assembly.- Proficiency in using handheld power tools, including "Air Pressure" tools.- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.- Knowledge of fabrics, leathers, and upholstery methods is advantageous.
