The school is a SEND school catering for secondary age pupils and is based a short distance from Derby city centre. It is a school that I personally have had a wonderful working relationship with, having appointed many satisfied teaching assistants into roles with this organisation.Vacancy Details :

• This is a full time position for a SEND specialist teaching assistant.
• The role will be classroom based for the majority, which will consist of small class sizes with the teacher always present, as well as support from other TA’s.
• The role will require 1 : 1 support of pupils which will involve educational, pastoral and behavioural support.Candidate Requirements : To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate :
• A teaching assistant qualification of at least L2, L3 preferred
• Experience of providing TA support in a SEND school based setting for at least 1 term
• Full enhanced DBS certificate
• Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process
• The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant
