We are working in collaboration with a leading supplier of High Quality Meat and Poultry products, and we are keen to speak to experienced Buyers from the Meat industryThis vacancy is a site based role; however, the successful Candidate will need to possess a full UK driving licence and Passport,  and have a flexible approach to travel, UK,  and occasionally abroad As a Buyer : You will be responsible for purchasing Meat and Poultry. You will liaise closely with internal stakeholders, maintain, and develop strong supplier relationships and implement the company buying strategy, generating a solid base for current Customers and new businessKey AccountabilitiesImplement the company buying strategy for their categories. Identifying the correct suppliers to provide the best possible commercial and product offering for our customer base and adjusting according to changing business requirementsTo directly agree prices, volumes, and specifications with suppliers for raw materials, working closely with the Supply Chain, Planning and Operations teamsIn conjunction with the Supply Chain team, manage supplier performance and ensure they are hitting requisite services levels and targeted KPIs.
