Leader Education are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant ( HLTA ) to work at a mainstream Primary School based near Alnwick . This Primary school caters for children aged 2 to 11 years old. The ideal HLTA have a level 4 or 5 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent, have experience working with children and young people, and have a passion for working within education. Children who come to this school learn the skills to become confident, independent and resilient learners.
The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday from 8 : 30am until 3 : 30pm and is a long-term position.
The successful candidate will have :
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one
- Enthusiasm for working in education
- A HLTA Qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting student learning
