Job descriptionBOHS S301 Asbestos and Other Fibres Travel between a number of locations both within and outwith Aberdeen City during working hours on a regular basis and on occasions out-with normal hours. Be able to work flexibly throughout the city with no fixed office location. Deal with a wide range of clients from various services and backgrounds. Engage with property professionals and contractors (including contributing to contract monitoring meetings). Use job-related databases and systems (e.g. Confirm, Consilium, modus AIM's 5) to a competent level. Utilize all standard MS Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) to a competent level.

Location : Marischal College, Aberdeen
Status : Full Time 37 hours per week
Duration : Permanent
To arrange for asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys to be undertaken by relevant term maintenance surveyor and analyse reports to extract key pieces of information to enable asbestos to be managed in line with current legislation and HSE guidance. In addition, arrange for informing all relevant staff and clients of findings contained within asbestos reports and arrange for the removal, encapsulation, and re-inspections as deemed necessary.
Requirements
The post holder must hold the following certifications :
- BOHS Proficiency Module P405
