About the Role

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager who is going to continue to bring us more oxygen. Your role will be key to ensuring a smooth daily operation of the pub, delivering excellent customer service, and fostering a warm, friendly atmosphere for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership : Assist in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing laws.
- Team Management : Supervise and motivate staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
- Customer Experience : Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, ensuring top-quality service and resolving customer concerns effectively.
- Cellar Management : Ensure the cellar is well maintained, beer lines are kept clean (in accordance with the Brewers Association) and that hygiene standards are compliant.
- Stock & Inventory : Assist in managing stock levels, placing orders, and reducing waste to maximise profitability.
- Financial Support : Help manage budgets, control costs, and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Events & Promotions : Support planning and execution of events, live music nights, quiz nights, and community-driven activities.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are upheld.
