Job description

Our client, an established Agency Broker , headquartered in the heart of London, is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Hedge Fund and / or Asset Manager Rates Sales professional. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and an established client book , ideally covering US based Clients. Good track record with working seamlessly with the Trade Execution desk for OTC interest rate products such as IRS, Inflation, Government Bonds and Asset Swaps.

Responsibilities :

Onboard and develop Hedge Fund and / or Asset Manager clients
Communicate regularly with buyside clients, upselling the services of the Agency Broker
Support the execution of trades efficiently using skills related to Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Inflation, Government Bonds and Asset swaps
To help develop brand recognition for the company.

Desired Skills :

Sales Expertise - ability to establish strong rapport when meeting new customers; be able to communicate professionally yet persuasively under high-pressure situations; on-board new clients effectively in a timely manner.

Interest Rates knowledge - demonstrate expertise / understanding around various aspects associated within this area including inflation risks etc.

Good communication abilities - Ability that allows them smoothly interact across different departments both internal teams like marketing team members but also external ones e.g., legal counsel making sure all stakeholders are informed about key activities happening during any given time period could help avoid miscommunication-related problems later down line.

Entrepreneurial Mindset - A motivation and willingness to build a business, as demonstrated by a positive growth mindset, high level of intensity and integrity.
