Location : Scunthorpe based with travel nationwide and overseas
Job Role :
Integrate Engineering Resources is recruiting for an HSE Manager on behalf of our client, a market leader in the industrial services sector. The role is based in Scunthorpe and involves travel to sites nationwide and overseas. The responsibilities include developing and implementing organizational safety programs, reviewing and updating HSE policies, and conducting risk assessments to identify hazards and plan precautions.
Typical duties include :
- Supporting management in issuing HSE policies and guidelines, defining roles and responsibilities concerning safety and the HSE Management System.
- Implementing, updating, reviewing, and auditing the company's HSE systems.
- Monitoring the effective implementation of HSE procedures and updating them in line with legislation and company directives.
- Assisting departments with client interactions regarding health and safety issues.
- Conducting internal and external safety audits.
- Participating in accident / incident investigations.
- Analyzing incident statistics, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements.
- Providing technical safety support to senior management.
- Conducting in-house safety training.
- Performing safety audits on subcontractors.
- Liaising with clients on safety matters.
- Participating in HAZOP meetings before procurement and installation activities.
- Carrying out risk assessments.
- Preparing health and safety documentation for tenders.
- Providing safety support and supervision during initial contract start-up activities.
- Meeting with customers for work scope preparation and bid gathering.
- Assisting with field operations, including on-site training and job management.
