Job Title : RF Optimisation Engineer

Location : Berkshire (Hybrid – some remote work)

Contract : 3-Month Extendable Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Optimisation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in radio network optimisation, particularly with Ericsson equipment. This role will be critical in improving network performance, enhancing benchmarking results, and optimising key KPIs for LTE and 5G networks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive network KPI improvements by analysing new parameters, LTE / NR (new radio) features (e.g., software upgrades), and optimising existing configurations following industry best practices.
• Identify and implement solutions to enhance network performance, ensuring optimal service quality and user experience.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of network performance using tools and methodologies to detect and resolve performance issues.
• Optimise radio parameters and features to improve customer experience, capacity, and spectral efficiency.
• Enhance benchmarking performance through drive test analysis, identifying performance gaps compared to competitors, and implementing optimisation measures to enhance network efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate new software, features, and parameters in a live network environment.
• Generate detailed reports and recommendations to support network improvement strategies.
