DOF Subsea Atlantic is seeking a Subsea Field Engineer to join one of our CSVs to support the delivery of subsea projects. The Field Engineer will be based on the vessel full time on a rota of up to 6 weeks on / off. This role is linked to a vessel which works primarily in the Atlantic region (North Sea, Mediterranean, West Africa) but there may be opportunities to support other regions as well. This is an offshore role primarily but may include occasional office visits to support constructability reviews or risk assessments.
Responsibilities :
- Build a strong understanding of vessel capabilities and limitations
- Develop / improve processes and manuals to support project delivery
- Coordinate requests for information from onshore teams to the relevant department on the CSV
- Attend constructability reviews / HIRA / HAZOP
- Support mobilisations and demobilisations
- Support offshore project execution (task plan preparation, equipment readiness)
- Perform ad hoc engineering checks during change management
- Champion QHSE on board the vessel
