Your newpany
Based in Glasgow city centre, our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their well-established team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday 9am–5pm (although some flexibility can be offered). The offices are easily accessible by public transport.
Your new role
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a busy office function, the Finance Assistant will undertake a range of duties. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to; processing supplier invoices, processing supplier payments, bank reconciliations, sales ledger, financial analysis, reporting for management, supporting the Finance Director with month-end duties and general associated finance administration.
W hat you'll need to succeed
Experience within a transactional finance role is required, but training can be provided in areas in which you are less experienced. The IT system used is Xero and experience of this is highly advantageous (although not essential). You will be a team player with goodmunication skills (both written and verbal) as you willmunicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues on a daily basis via telephone and email. You will be an individual who thrives in a busy and fast-paced role and ideally, you will have experience working to various deadlines.
