Do you like working with the latest technology and are interested in enhancing your tech abilities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Product Owner with significant experience of developing and running data products!

As an experienced Data Product Owner, you should possess a solid background in planning and integrating data, as well as in testing and validating Data Products. It is important to have a well-rounded understanding of data operations and data pipelines.

At Aviva, data serves as the lifeblood that propels our organizations forward, and our team are no exception. As a Product Owner within our esteemed Data Engineering team, you will be an indispensable force, seamlessly integrating into Aviva Quantum, our global hub for Data Science Excellence. Here, our focus spans across a spectrum of subject areas, encompassing Machine Learning, Analytics, Data Engineering, AI, and more.

Furthermore, your role extends beyond the technical realm. You'll serve as a beacon of innovation, guiding the evolution of our teams with an eye towards industry-leading approaches. Your collaborative spirit will be a driving force as your teams engage with other areas of Aviva, ensuring that the culmination of our efforts yields nothing less than the finest customer experience.

Skills and experience we’re looking for :

  • Develop and maintain detailed data product vision and data product roadmaps with clearly defined milestones, specific deliverables and alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify and analyse the data needs, then transform them into opportunities, outcomes, and benefit cases.
  • Understanding data architecture, analytics and governance for building the products.
  • Measure and evaluate the performance, impact, and user satisfaction of the data products, using data-driven metrics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Develops and maintains Data Product controls, including but not limited to Data Product manifests and catalogue.
