Downing IP is a leading Intellectual Property firm with a strong reputation for providing expert IP services to a diverse client base. We work closely with SMEs, startups, and multinational corporations across a wide range of industries, particularly within the physical sciences - including automotive, high-end audio, and cutting-edge engineering.
We are looking for a part-qualified or qualified Patent Attorney with a specialism in physics-related innovations to join our team. If you are looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, build close client relationships, and play a key role in a growing firm, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities but not limited to : -
- Prepare and manage patent applications for physics-related innovations across various industries.
- Independently handle a range of client accounts, providing strategic IP advice.
- Advise clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and enforcement strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending industry events as needed.
- Stay up to date with IP laws, regulations, and emerging industry trends.
