Job Title : Assistant Accountant

Description : We are hiring for our client one of Greater Belfast s leading employers who is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Accountant . The Role :

  • Manage intercompany transactions across multiple entities
  • Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time
  • Support the finance team with monthend procedures and reconciliations
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

    • The Person :

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role ideally with exposure to intercompany transactions
  • Strong knowledge of VAT and Intrastat returns
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive and problemsolving mindset
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Partqualified accountant or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential
