Overview of Role

The primary responsibility of the Cyber Security Manager is to lead the operations of the cyber security testing lab and produce product security documentation. They will collaborate with the Cargo Engineering Software Team to manage cyber security risks within the Cargo X-ray software suite. Additionally, this role is integrated into the larger corporate cyber security team at OSI Systems.

Responsibilities

As a global leader in border protection and transportation security products, we are seeking a dedicated professional to :

• Own the Cyber Security Design : Assess and define cyber security design requirements, and develop and maintain product security documentation within a standardized security framework.
• Risk Management : Analyze, report on, and assist in managing security-related risks, including proposing further security improvements.
• Education & Awareness : Continuously educate product design staff and stakeholders on cyber security impacts on product design and support efforts.
• Innovative Solutions : Define innovative solutions to secure and support networked products used in diverse settings over long install periods.
• Product Test Protocols : Participate in and assist with developing product test protocols to efficiently assess product vulnerabilities, working with engineering to recommend remediation alternatives.
• Collaboration : Work with product engineering teams to understand cyber security test results and identify remediation techniques.
• Threat Assessment : Lead efforts to assess product vulnerabilities to new and emergent threats, identify root causes, and develop remediation strategies. Communicate findings to internal engineering, service teams, and external customers.
• Standardized Processes : Proactively support and document standardized processes to ensure product security throughout design, development, support, and usage.
