Registrar - Service - General Medicine / Acute Medical Unit

Position Profile :

We are seeking to appointsuitably experienced Service Medical Registrar to work across both our Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and AHS General Medicine units for a 12 month period. Selection to this position would see you allocated across RPH AMU, AHS MAU and AHS General Medicine.

It is intended that this will assist in developing skills in General Medicine in a focussed manner for doctors at Service Medical Registrar. In this role you will provide a high-quality clinical service to all hospital patients under the supervision of Clinical Supervisors including Consultants and Registrars within a multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to work within your ability and according to the hospital’s core values of Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. In this role you will also expand your knowledge and skills through the available learning opportunities.

Area Profile : Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth’s inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services. Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a general hospital focused on providing a range of high-quality health carer services in the community.
