Project Support Officer

The Programme and Accountable Body Team is part of the Economy Skills & Culture Service here at Sheffield City Council. The Team directly manages significant amounts of funds both internal and external and plays a key role within the Council administering grants and managing programmes.

We are recruiting to the post of Project Support Officer, to work with the existing team to support the compliant delivery of UK Shared Prosperity Fund projects. The post is for a fixed term of 7 months with the potential to extend subject to funding confirmation.

This post will be work alongside the Programme Manager to ensure compliant delivery of business support and culture projects the majority of which form part of Sheffields UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join this small but critical team. In addition, you will be organised and flexible, and experience of working in a programme / project environment or with external funding would be very desirable.
