We’re investing heavily in our Engineering team with opportunities for personal development and career progression. We are recruiting for Engineering Team Leaders at our Sittingbourne site, Kent.

Mission

Your main responsibilities include leading a team of two engineers to ensure continuous production by fault finding and maintaining various equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical / electronic systems.

You will carry out planned and reactive engineering activities, working 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights from 6 am to 6 pm.

Critical Skills

• Electrical and / or mechanical qualifications (apprenticeship)
• 3+ years’ experience in medium / large automated manufacturing
• Experience leading an engineering team (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Electrical fault finding and routine maintenance experience
• Ability to diagnose and recommend solutions for plant issues
• Excellent communication skills
• PLC and VSD knowledge (advantageous)
• Experience with mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics
