About the Role :

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Social Workerto join our Adult Locality Teamin Bromley. This role involves working with adults in the local community to assess their needs, provide support, and promote independence and well-being. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead on complex cases, offer guidance to colleagues, and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Complex Casework : Manage a caseload of complex cases, including safeguarding, mental health, and care planning assessments.
• Needs Assessments : Conduct person-centred assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, ensuring care plans address the unique needs of individuals.
• Supervision and Support : Provide support and guidance to junior social workers, assisting with professional development and casework challenges.
• Safeguarding : Lead on safeguarding enquiries and work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults.
• Collaborative Working : Build strong relationships with health professionals, housing services, voluntary organisations, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated care.
• Legislative Compliance : Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
• Service Development : Contribute to team discussions and initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and outcomes for service users.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory timescales and policies.
