Hourly Rate : £24.62

Job Description

British Airways is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Material Controller to join our engineering and logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s most iconic aviation brands, supporting the smooth delivery of aircraft maintenance and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and usage.
  • Support engineering teams by ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process improvements in material handling and logistics.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a materials control, inventory, or supply chain role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments.
  • Proficient in inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
