What you will do :

You will work within the relevant legal frameworks, guidance, policies, and procedures to undertake assessments, reviews, and support planning with individuals and their carers.

Promote well-being, independence, and safety throughout your practices while undertaking safeguarding processes.

Join one of two close-knit teams with extremely supportive and experienced managers and senior staff.

Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance your professional growth.

Promote our Connected Southend Model to strengthen community ties.

Requirements :

Candidates must be able to work in the UK and hold a recognised Social Work qualification.

Registration with Social Work England and completion of the ASYE is required.

Previous experience working in the Adult Social Care sector is essential, as is the ability to apply a strength-based, asset-based approach to assessment, care planning, and review.

Experience with the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005), and managing adult safeguarding enquiries is beneficial.

If you do not have direct experience, a good understanding and knowledge are necessary.

Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including voluntary, public, and private sector organisations, will be crucial to your role, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
