18.5 Hours Per Week - Flexible Working Pattern
Escape Recruitment Services is working with our manufacturing client based in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit an experienced Customer & Sales Coordinator to join their established and supportive sales team on a permanent, part-time basis.
This role offers flexibility with your working pattern. You’ll work 18.5 hours per week and will be required to spend at least 50% of your time in the office - potentially more during the initial training and handover period.
What you’ll be doing :
- Managing all incoming enquiries for the UK sales team, primarily from existing customers
- Identifying customer requirements and technical specifications, working cross-functionally with internal teams to build accurate sales quotations
- Coordinating the quotation process, gathering input from teams such as production and procurement in a timely manner
- Following up on outstanding quotes to convert into confirmed orders
- Processing sales orders through the ERP system, ensuring all teams understand customer requirements and deadlines
- Monitoring the sales order through the supply chain to ensure timelines are met
- Communicating with customers throughout the order lifecycle, resolving issues and managing expectations
- Providing admin support for customer issues and coordinating with teams including production, quality and engineering through to resolution
- Attending weekly sales meetings and providing updates to support wider team activity
- Identifying lapsed customers to generate new sales opportunities
- Providing general support to the sales team to drive excellent customer service and increased sales activity
- Assisting with the organisation of trade events and occasionally attending where required
What we’re looking for :
Experience in a similar role such as Customer Coordinator, Sales Administrator or Internal SalesPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial, but full training will be providedExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to support both internal and external stakeholdersStrong communication skills, confident dealing with international teams to gather information for customer requests and quotationsConfident IT skills, this should include MS Office, ERP & / or CRM database systemsA proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitudeHighly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable solving problems independentlyThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that lives by its values and encourages input and ideas.
