Job description

Retail Assistant - Part Time, 16 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Hanley, Staffordshire. This is a permanent part-time position with a variety of shifts, working a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits :

The pay depends on your age :

  • Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
  • Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

    • As a Retail Assistant, you will :

  • Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting
  • Assist customers in finding products
  • Provide quick and friendly service at the tills, including packing and goodbyes
  • Handle stock carefully during deliveries, stocking shelves and freezers
  • Work with your team to keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy

    • Requirements :

  • A friendly, positive, hardworking attitude
  • Enjoy staying busy with various tasks
  • Reliability as part of a small team
  • Flexibility with shifts, with planning three weeks in advance
