Electrically biased engineer required for an industry leading producer of construction materials who are recognised on an international basis for the quality of their products. They can offer ongoing job security in a days-based position.

The successful candidate for this role will need to be a qualified electrical engineer / electrician. Candidates from any industry are encouraged and you will need experience working with control systems.

Working within a team of typically three per shift, you will be responsible for looking after production equipment and will carry out repairs to breakdowns and implementing corrective measures. This will involve working with 3phase electrics, single phase, motors, relays and Siemens PLCs. You will also carry out PPMs and will support ongoing project and continuous improvement activities.

• Reactive and preventative maintenance
• Support installation / factory improvement activities
• Working with fixed plant machinery
