We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring residents, Council employees and key stakeholders are kept informed of activity, results and positive stories from our partnership with Basildon Borough Council.

About the role

As our Communications Officer you will thrive working in a fast-paced team, promoting, managing and protecting the partnership through proactive and reactive public relations and delivering on an integrated communications plan. You will be responsible for managing the content used in the councils communications channels and producing engaging content that help inform residents of the repairs and maintenance partnership.

Working closely with the Tenant and Engagement team and the Council communications team to deliver engagement opportunities and events, you will build relationships with residents and capture invaluable insights which you can then feedback to the wider teams.
