The Energy Market Analyst will join the EMEA Solutions team, focusing on energy system planning and market modelling within the Power Systems team. The role works closely with key stakeholders, including System Operators, Transmission Operators, Regulators, and other governmental organizations.
As a subject matter expert in European energy markets, the ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in energy market economics, familiarity with wholesale market trends, and an understanding of how market models support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Create Proof of Concept studies to demonstrate the value of Energy Exemplar’s solutions.
Familiarity with energy trading operations, risk management, and optimization tools (e.g., PLEXOS, BID3, Antaras).
A tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Operations Research, or a similar field.
