Maintenance Assistant

Wehave an exciting opportunity to join our Maintenance team at The Fife ArmsHotel, Braemar, as a Maintenance Assistant working closely with our PropertyManager and team.

As a Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible forensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard. Areasinclude guest bedrooms, bathrooms, associated areas, as well as staffaccommodation.

As a MaintenanceAssistant, you will be responsible for :

• Carrying out maintenance on all hotel fixturesand fittings to ensure that they are in safe condition and action is taken whenany unsafe situations arise.
• Carrying out maintenance tasks includingjoinery, plumbing, electrics, painting and decorating according to the dailytask list.
• Carrying out maintenance of the staffaccommodation internally and externally according to the daily task list.
• Ensuring compliance with Environment, Health,Safety, Security and Fire & Bomb Policies and Procedures.
• Performing daily maintenance, fire safety andsecurity checks around the hotel.
• Supporting the Property Manager by supervisingany external contractors on site, as required.
• Ensuring that good relationships are built andmaintained with internal and external customers.
• Supporting the implementation, and directionof all emergency programmes.
• Supporting the implementation and managementof energy conservation programmes for the property to minimize expenses and reduce environmental impact.
