Ecommerce Manager (Development & CRO)
12 Month Contract (September start date)
Central London (3 days in the office)
I am working with a global womenswear brand who are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of ecommerce development and conversion rate optimisation for the business helping to support the growth of the digital business globally.
The Role : Development
- Own the delivery of ecommerce development projects across website features, integrations, and platform improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and development briefs
- Drive QA processes, ensuring all new features and updates are thoroughly tested and meet functional, visual, and UX standards
- Monitor site performance and stability post-deployment; coordinate with tech teams to troubleshoot issues as needed
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyse data insights and reports to inform ecommerce decisions, including contributing to user behaviour based on sales data, funnel and page analysis and return analysisAssist in preparing reports and summaries that provide a clear view of eCommerce performance, helping to drive strategic decisions around UX and CROOwn GA4 development and analysis. Building out insights into user behaviours, navigational patterns, and the customer journeyWork with development teams to optimise site speed and performanceMonitor key website performance metrics, including load time, uptime, and responsiveness, ensuring consistent and optimal user experiences across all devices and browsersTechnology
Ensure that site performance, functionality & usability are best in class.Coordinate end-to-end project management for all ecommerce platform enhancements ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and third party service providers to integrate crucial tools seamlessly into the platformSkills & Experience
5+ years of experience in ecommerce or digital project management, must be in a retail or consumer-facing brandProven experience delivering website development projects on Shopify Plus or similar ecommerce platformsStrong understanding of ecommerce architecture, APIs, and integrations (e.g., payment gateways, fulfilment, CRM, personalisation tools)Experience working on headless ecommerce buildsFamiliarity with A / B testing tools, CRO platforms, and analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics, Hotjar).Experience working with external development agencies or SaaS providersComfortable using project management tools (e.g Jira, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp)Passion for ecommerce and an interest in digital customer experience innovation!
