Job Role
You will carry out professional supervision of Social Workers and Community Case Workers, support their development, and promote their continuous professional growth. The role involves leading safeguarding enquiries, acting on behalf of the service manager in their absence, managing performance, overseeing daily operations, monitoring and improving quality, and contributing to the service's overall development.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role within a busy, vibrant team. We seek a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with experience in Adult Social Care. A good knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential, along with the ability to support your team within this legislation. We value individuals committed to achieving positive outcomes.
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
