Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are excited to be assisting a fantastic setting in Sunderland  who are looking for an exceptional Learning support assistant for a SEPTEMBER start position . The role will be Monday to Friday working 8.45 till 14.45- Term time only . This is a 22.5 hour role, perfect for those who need to fit work around further study or other commitments !!

This setting specialises in the care and education of pupils with a range of needs in The Social and Emotional Category . You will be working as part of the Support Team mainly 1 : 1 with a young person aged between 11-16. The  team  is effective and supportive .

You will accompany your learner in Lessons and some alternative curriculum sessions. You will be there to provide academic, emotional and behaviour support- constantly setting a positive example.

This position will be ongoing for the right candidate and has a possibility of turning into a permanent position.

The school is easily accessible by either car or public transport
