LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Are you passionate about supporting children in Education and have experience as a Learning Support Assistant?

The role itself will be to effectively collaborate with designated pupils on a 1 : 1 / small group basis and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils.

The successful candidate will :

• Have previous teaching / 1 : 1 support following planning

Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils

Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively

Have effective verbal and written communication

Support the use of support staff relevant to the class

Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment

SEN / SEMH Needs

Strong Behaviour Management Technqiues

Pay rate – Between GBP85 – GBP100

Hours 8 : 30AM 4 : 00PM

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
