Experience required…
Essential :
UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based clientLead the design and delivery of highway engineering schemes from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation and regulationsSupervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and supportPrepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specificationsConduct site visits and inspections, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project deliveryStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractorsDesirable :
Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineChartered Engineer status (CEng) with a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIHTProject management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectivelyA full UK driving licenceWe recognise flexibility in working hours and location / remote is important to you, and endeavour to encourage maximum flexibility in every secondment wherever possible.
