Plant Fitter 📍 Location : South Lanarkshire, Scotland 💰 Salary : Competitive, based on experience + Overtime & Benefits 🕒 Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent Are you a skilled and motivated Plant Fitter looking to work with heavy-duty construction machinery? We're looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our client, helping to maintain and repair a range of equipment used across various construction projects. 🔧 Key Responsibilities : Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of plant equipment including excavators, dumpers, loaders, and telehandlers. Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs both in the workshop and on-site. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns. Ensure all machinery is safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete job sheets.✅ Requirements : Proven experience as a plant fitter, construction mechanic, or similar role. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification / training). Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines. Full UK driving licence (essential).
