Description Prepare and process the organisation's monthly payroll accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and regulations. Handle tax, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions. Resolve payroll-related queries from staff in a timely manner. Maintain accurate payroll records and reports for auditing purposes. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes. Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations. Oversee end-of-year payroll procedures, including P60s and tax year-end submissions.Profile A successful Standalone Payroll Manager should have : Strong experience in managing payroll processes independently. Comprehensive knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
