Job Description

• Prepare and process the organisation's monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and regulations.
• Handle tax, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions.
• Resolve payroll-related queries from staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and reports for auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
• Oversee end-of-year payroll procedures, including P60s and tax year-end submissions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Standalone Payroll Manager should have :

• Strong experience in managing payroll processes independently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
