Higher Clerical Officer - WestMARC Yoker Depot

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 08 : 30-16 : 30.

An opportunity has arisen with West of Scotland Rehabilitation & Mobility Centre (WestMARC) for a Higher Clerical Officer, within our Yoker Depot. WestMARC provides a range of rehabilitation technology services for the West of Scotland, covering 6 health boards delivered by clinical teams to wheelchair and seating patients and prosthetics patients. The post holder will work within a small administration team carrying out a variety of administration tasks; calling patients and scheduling appointments for repairs to their wheelchair, updating patient records, providing reception cover to visitors attending the site and general administration tasks.

Minimum Requirements :

• Applicants should be educated to SVQ Level 3 or have equivalent knowledge and experience in an administration environment.
• Sound knowledge of office packages and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience of working in an office environment with a patient focus is desirable.
• The ability to deal with difficult situations and to remain calm under pressure.
