Job Summary :

We are seeking passionate and ambitious individuals to join our team as a Management Trainee. This structured, hands-on program is designed to provide a 360-degree view of restaurant operations through job rotation across key front-of-house roles : Waitress, Receptionist, and Captain. The objective is to cultivate strong operational skills, customer service excellence, and leadership capabilities in preparation for a future managerial role within our organization.

Job Description :

Your roles and responsibilities as a Management Trainee include :

  • Welcome and host customers upon arrival to the restaurant.
  • Deliver excellent customer service according to company standards.
  • Serve and portion dishes quickly, efficiently, and systematically.
  • Uphold quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
  • Proficient in menu planning and recommending drinks, dishes, and desserts to customers.
  • Operate the reservation and table management system for bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Manage front desk reception operations, including handling incoming calls, emails, and attending to customers.
  • Manage and update customer records within the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Operate the Point of Sales (POS) system for order entry and bill closing.
  • Perform daily POS system closing procedures.
  • Manage petty cash.
  • Plan and manage the roster and daily performance records of part-time staff.
  • Assist in event planning and management.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments for smooth daily operations.
  • Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
  • Lead and manage a team of service crew during operations.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing special events.
  • Manage inventory of alcohol and beverages, ensuring timely updates and stock takes.
  • Report month-end stock take inventories to headquarters.
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Follow company standard operating procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications :

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of F&B experience are welcome
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
