Applicants should meet the following criteria :
- Experience of working with people at all levels of an organisation in the provision of finance activities.
- Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyse data, identify key issues and trends
- Motivated to implement / deliver on time to quality standards
- Initiative and openness to change
- Highly energetic and driven to succeed
- Able to build good interpersonal relationships across a range of stakeholders
- Undertaking studies towards a qualification may be of benefit.
- Experience of working in the healthcare sector or a services-oriented would be advantageous but not essential.
Duties of this role include :
Patient accounts billed timely after discharge if inpatients, or as outpatients.Ensure compliance with department processes and policiesCheck NHS and insurance company agreements for accuracy.Produce invoices for patients / consultants / insurance companies in line with their agreements.Deal with patient / insurer / consultant enquiries over the telephone.Maintain department security.Maintain a professional, helpful approach to all customers and colleagues.Complete mandatory training as required.Query management. Liaise closely with Credit ControlAssist with regular KPI reporting for BBSSupport change and the review of finance processes to improve overall efficiency.Ensuring compliance with statutory and group obligationsDeliver timely and accurate data to produce management information reports, and identify trends and exceptionsSalary & Benefits
