Our specialist manufacturing team is looking to recruit an experienced supervisor to join the team.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate the execution of manufacturing steps according to defined procedures and protocols in line with cGMP work practices and quality standards. This role is dedicated to supervising production and resources, reviewing, organizing, and developing systems / processes to achieve :
- Effective supervisory control of all production activities
- Effective management of a small team of manufacturing staff
- Effective planning and coordination of manufacturing activities
- Effective planning and coordination with support functions
Responsibilities include :
Planning and coordinating production plans to deliver products on time, with quality and cost considerationsEnsuring all production steps are executed in compliance with cGMP standardsPreparing manufacturing rooms for activities, ensuring availability of materials and documentationSupervising activities in cleanroomsEnsuring team and visitor safety, investigating safety events, and tracking actionsCompleting and maintaining accurate documentation for manufacturing activitiesApplying best cGMP practices and ensuring equipment, facilities, and materials meet standardsTraining and ensuring staff competency and complianceManaging cell bank activities, FBS qualification, and virus seedbank manufactureMotivating staff, reporting issues, and executing training plansDeveloping and reporting on quality and business metrics for continuous improvementIdentifying process improvement opportunitiesManaging deviations, change controls, and CAPAsMaintaining a clean, organized, and inspection-ready environmentConducting activities safely and in compliance with HSE requirementsFostering a positive team environment and participating in improvement initiativesManaging team absence and performance reviewsPerforming other duties as required by managementExperience
Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant fieldAt least 3 years of senior production experienceProven supervisory experience of 4+ staffExperience in vaccine production and animal cell cultureCell bank experienceRequired Skills
