Role Overview

A Digital Identity Verification Product Owner needs a diverse skill set, including strong technical knowledge, understanding of identity management systems, and excellent communication skills. They should also possess analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Technical Acumen

Deep understanding of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including federation, SSO, MFA, and entitlement management.

  • Familiarity with fraud detection systems, rules engines, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards like FIDO, NIST 800-63, ISO 27001.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, especially IAM services.
  • Analytical Skills

    • Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate into strategies.

  • Understanding risk management principles related to digital identity verification.
  • Problem-solving skills related to identity verification and fraud prevention.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership qualities to motivate cross-functional teams and drive projects.
  • Other Skills

    • Product management knowledge and understanding of the product lifecycle.
