Pig Stockperson

Description

Our client is looking to recruit an indoor pig stockperson for their unit in Somerset (BA11).

The family farming business has a 450-sow farrow-to-finish pig unit. They are looking for someone to join the team to assist with breeding and other aspects of the farm as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Experience working with pigs / livestock (training is available)
• Enthusiasm and a desire to work in the Pig Industry
• High welfare standards and attention to detail
• Ideally, tractor and telehandler experience, but applicants can learn on the job

Salary Guide - £20,000 - £25,000 (doe) + Overtime

Accommodation is unavailable, so local candidates must be able to commute to BA11.
