The retail sales specialist’s primary responsibility is to generate in-store sales. The Retail Sales Specialist works under the supervision of the Account Executive and contributes to brand awareness and retail sales to support Sunday Riley’s in-store success. The role is accountable for sales performance, ATV / AUS growth, personal development, and expanding the customer database through excellent customer service.

Ideal Candidate : Enjoys the retail environment with a strong background in beauty, sales, and customer experience. Professional Beauty Therapy qualifications are advantageous. Must be a stellar seller, organized, responsible, detail-oriented, a self-starter, multi-tasker, and possess strong follow-up skills. Energy, passion, and resilience are essential; comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers.
  • Achieve and surpass KPI targets.
  • Develop excellent in-store relationships with management and peers.
  • Understand sales data and take personal accountability for all deliverables.

Product Knowledge :

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all Sunday Riley products, features, and benefits through training.
  • Take responsibility for personal learning, including research and seeking additional training from the education team.
  • Maintain broad skincare knowledge and understand product methods, layering, and suitability.
  • Recommend products tailored to customer needs.
  • Store Environment :

  • Maintain high standards in all areas of the sales floor, testers, and stock room.
  • Support floor moves and promotions, ensuring housekeeping and presentation standards.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and company codes of practice.
  • Ensure product availability, visual merchandising, and proper stock management.
  • Key Deliverables :

  • Meet or exceed sales and personal targets.
  • Achieve ATV and AUS goals.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience and grow the customer database.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Organize and execute in-store events to boost sales.
  • Manage administrative tasks and pursue personal growth.
  • Experience and Skills :

  • At least 3 years in retail, sales, or the beauty industry, preferably skincare.
  • Beauty Therapy Qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Positive, professional, and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Passion for skincare and strong product knowledge.
  • Experience in open-sell environments.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility for weekend work.
  • Work Details :

  • Location : In-store in London.
  • Full-time role with 2 days off per week.
  • Adherence to a schedule set by the Account Executive, including at least 3 weekends per month.
