EIA Consultant - Principal / Associate Director[1085623]

Our portfolio of work includes flood, coastal and maritime projects and a range of other sectors such as ports, water utilities, transport and renewable power. Our scale of projects range from nationally significant infrastructure projects to local river restoration.

The role can be full time or hybrid in one of our offices in Bristol / Bradford on Avon, Redhill or Birmingham. Or we can offer remote working.

The role will be primarily technical but also opportunities for team and line management / mentoring if that is your interest.

About the Role

The role will include :

• Co-ordinating all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) including SEA and the range of other environmental assessments and consents such as WFD, HRA, and planning.
• Provide the reviewer and approver role for environmental deliverables; driving technical quality.
• Providing line management and mentoring to members of the Environmental Team.
• Supporting tenders.
• Supporting recruitment.

Qualifications / Requirements

The role is suitable for an Environmental professional with full professional membership (such as IEMA, IES or CIWEM). In addition, should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge :

Experience of construction stage delivery would be an advantage but not essential.

Previous project / commercial management is not required for this role as we have dedicated Project Managers to allow a technical focus on projects.

We would welcome applicants of Principal Level and above and we can flex salary based on grade and experience. Start date is flexible.
