JOB- Process Engineer - MouldingLOCATION- CanterburyTERM- PermanentSALARY- £43,000-£48,000 (Dependent on experience)My client is looking for a Moulding Process Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Canterbury area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setting of Moulding machines within your section and completing orders on time to the correct quality and costThe Moulding Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes : Excellent knowledge of the injection moulding processAbility to be flexible and work without supervisionSound knowledge of thermoplastic materialsExperience within Lean Manufacturing & continuous improvementCompetent in problem solving, planning and decision makingAbility to work under pressure, in quality & results driven environmentPositive approach with a continuous improvement mindsetAbility to work individually or as a teamThe Moulding Process Engineer role will involve : Produce parts to the correct quality, specifications and proceduresMaintain and check equipment is meeting H&S standardsAssist section leader in planning daily production requirementsTo immediately report to the Section Leader any defects on equipment or mouldings.Comply with work instruction within the organisationTool trials / changesTroubleshooting and process optimisationDelivering continuous improvement, operational excellence, and lean improvementsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
