The Role

Python Developer at Oodle Car Finance.

Seeking a Python Developer with 3+ years of experience for our Loan Processing team. Join a small, ambitious team working closely with Java and Data Science teams to build and support infrastructure for Credit Risk Management, using technologies like FastAPI, Pandera, Pandas, and Pydantic. The role involves collaboration, architecture development, code review, and supporting data science infrastructure. Remote work is possible with occasional office visits; based anywhere in the UK with the right to work.

Essential Requirements

• Proficiency in Python 3 and best practices.
• Familiarity with listed libraries / tools.
• Experience with automation testing and Pytest.
• Building and maintaining microservices.
• Implementing REST APIs.
• Version control with Git and using IDEs like Pycharm.
• Comfort with documentation and experimenting with new technologies.
• Knowledge of Docker, AWS, Github Actions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Creativity, passion, eagerness to learn, problem-solving skills.
• Final technical interview with the hiring manager and team member.
